How much time do you spend looking back? Thinking of last week, month, or year? If you aren't careful most of your time can be wasted looking back instead of pushing forward. Scripture is very clear on looking back. Lot's wife disobeyed by looking back and was turned into a pillar of salt. The entire Nation of Israel looked back and spent 40 years wandering through the wilderness. "Timehop" can be depressing. Life is too short to look back, when there is so much adventure for us waiting ahead.
Where is the only place that there is no mention of spiritual armor? ... You guess it, in the BACK. We wonder how many Christians have had their tomorrows robbed from them due to looking back instead of moving forward? A journey in progress cannot be adequately described if you are looking back instead of looking forward. In fact, if what you did yesterday is bigger than what you have planned for tomorrow, something is drastically wrong!
Today is a new day, a new journey, and a new start. If you spend your entire "now" looking backward, you will never see the great adventure that awaits. Let's press on toward our calling and stop being paralyzed by our yesterdays.
