There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.

Strength to Stand exists to share the gospel and uplift and support the local church, where new believers can find community. Our internship serves as an extension of that purpose. Rooted in 1 Corinthians 12:4-7, Strength to Stand will give summer staff the opportunity to grow in their faith while helping discern your contribution to the local church and how you can best serve it.

We seek to accomplish this goal by encouraging our interns to grow in our Four Pillars:

Over the course of two months, you will play a vital role in office operations by working in our different summer events while taking on various tasks that give you an inside look into what evangelistic ministry is like and how you can play a role in advancing God’s kingdom. While interning, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with those on staff, in the community, and with fellow summer staff members to discover more about the work of planning events, networking with student pastors, creative design, communications, administrative work each of which helps propel the vision of reaching those far from Christ forward.

Simply put, the Strength to Stand Internship prepares and equips you while leaving you with a heart for evangelism and love for the local church! We can’t wait to see you this summer!
